It isn’t exactly a celebration of Mother Nature’s pristine wilderness, but the Citrus County Speedway, located at the Fairgrounds in Inverness, is one of the most exciting tracks in the Southeast, with a year-round schedule of feature events. This quarter-mile, semi-banked oval track has its own Web site with details of past races, a schedule of upcoming events and many other interesting features.
